Meet the Owner

Elizabeth Fletcher, owner and brainchild of I Do Events, created this event planning business out of a love for parties and special events. This event planning prodigy coordinated her first event at the age of 13 when she planned her Mother’s surprise 40th birthday, complete with catering, invitations and floral inspirations.

Elizabeth is certified in interior design, and she has dabbled in set design, graphics and etiquette seminars. During her career in the field of event management, Elizabeth launched “I Do for Brides,” a regional bridal magazine circulated in five states and later went on to represent Federated and Belk’s department stores as spokesperson for area bridal events. After the sale of “I Do for Brides” in 2007, Elizabeth turned to what she was most passionate about… event planning!

What We Do

I Do Events is the wedding and event planning company of choice. Crafting diverse events of all sizes and styles—from high-end destination weddings with 375 guests to intimate 10-person weddings, parties or corporate events—has given I Do Events a competitive edge.

We acknowledge that every event is a unique creation, so from concept to completion, our Atlanta event coordinator will work closely with you to bring your ultimate vision to fruition. Using lighting, the finest decor, entertainment and other personalized elements appropriate for your event, we will work to design and direct the perfect affair. Our owner says that every event incorporates the five senses—“You have to see it, smell it, taste it, touch it, and feel it,” she says.

A combination of our personal attention to clients, outside-the-box thinking and stellar services are the basis for our innovative events. From private weddings, parties or corporate events to large-scale, red carpet events, we do it all.
